Responsible sourcing

We source our key raw material from the world’s leading soya-producing countries in North and South America. Today most of the soya that enters our production plant come from Brazil.

Our aim is always to use soya producers that demonstrate social responsibility. In Brazil, that means we only buy from producers who are either certified according to the ProTerra standard or committed to the Soy Moratorium.

Soya producers eligible for ProTerra certification must have implemented systems, processes and procedures that secure a high level of ethics, social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

Those producers that sign the Soy Moratorium agree not to trade soya in areas of the Amazon rainforest that have been deforested after 24 July 2006. Any producer or supplier found to be involved in illegal deforestation is removed from the list of Soy Moratorium signatories.
