This is why HAMLET PROTEIN is strongly committed to running a production, which is as environmentally friendly as possible. As a result we can praise ourselves on being the most energy-efficient company in our line of business. In fact, since 1995 we have managed to reduce our energy consumption by 50% - and are dedicated to increase the reduction further. 

HAMLET PROTEIN's “green” efforts include:

•    No use of chemicals in the production

•    Natural processes, causing no by-products

•    Only pure water is used to clean the production units

•    A continuous focus on minimizing energy consumption

•    Preparation of annual energy accounts

•    Compliance with all relevant legislation concerning energy and environmental issues

HAMLET PROTEIN is certified according to the DS 2403 Standard, issued by the Danish Energy Authorities.
